SCCM 2012 R2 is approaching the end of its lifes, so it is important to upgrade to the new version (SCCM Current Branch). Depending on the ADK and SQL version used, it may be necessary to update them as well.
So we will first update ADK Windows 8.1 to ADK Windows 10. The boot images will then be read-only, it will be necessary to update them. In a second step, we will update SCCM.

Update ADK to ADK Windows 10

Before we can install ADK Windows 10, we will uninstall the old version. This is done from the Uninstall Programs console in the Control Panel. Select Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit for Windows 8.1 and click on Uninstall

It is now possible to download the ADK version for Windows 10. New versions of ADK follow the Windows 10 versions. This will be done at each upgrade. A backwards compatibility exists, so it is possible to use the ADK version for a given period of time.See link below:

To download the ADK, the following link can be used :

Execute the downloaded file. In the Specify Location window, click Next.

Install Windows ADK

In the feature selection window, check Deployment Tools, Windows Preinstallation Environment and User State Migration Tools. Click Install to lauch Installation.

When the installation is complete, click Close, the installation is now completed.

Upgrade SCCM to SCCM Current Branch

Before you can update sccm, it is important to download ISO. Afterwards double click on the file splash.

Launch SCCM Install

A new window appears, click Install for lauch operation.

In the Available Setup Options window, only the upgrade option is selectable. Click on Next

SCCM is now up to date. The boot images in version 10 are well presented. It is now necessary to add the drivers in the boot images and then distribute them to the distribution point. Afterwards, the task sequences must be reconfigured (using the new startup image). For those using an MDT image, it is necessary to recreate the image.
